The Role as Business Development Director

As a Business Development Director, you will be a key player in strengthening the company’s activities in expanding world class defence command and control (C4ISR) and interoperability solutions and services in the Sweden market. Seize this opportunity and be part of an ambitious team that strives to make a difference for customers and expand Systematic’s Defence Business Unit.

The primary focus of the position concerns business development of Systematics’ defence products and services related to IRIS and SitaWare market-area in Sweden.

You will be part of the Nordic Defence Business Development team and reporting to the Vice President (VP) for Defence Business Development, Nordic. You main working location will be Stockholm, but the work includes travel to other customer locations around Sweden and countries in the region

Your profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a commercial and military background used to drive business development.

We think you have:

  • a Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant study
  • a thorough knowledge of the tendencies in the defence IT market
  • proven strong relations and network within the Sweden Armed Forces including Swedish Defence Materials Command
  • preferably 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing communication in the Defence IT market in the region
  • proven skills in IT solutions selling
  • security clearance is a demand as well as Swedish and English – fluent in speaking and writing
